What would happen if you asked Israelis and Palestinians about Kurds living in Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran? Earlier this week, The Ask Project got that very answer.
What do you think about the Kurds?
The responses by Israelis and Palestinians were similar — almost all supported the Kurds. Some supported the creation of a Kurdish state, while others believed that Kurds should work towards a peaceful co-existence within existing national borders.
Some of the interviewees were Israelis who came from Kurdish origins. It is estimated that more than 25,000 Jewish Kurds emigrated from the Kurdish regions to Israel after the Jewish state was created in 1948.
