ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The fascinating artist known as John Safin creates striking art among and within the nature of Kurdistan.
The resident of Soran in Erbil Province has no formal training but makes stunning works all the same.
His approach is one of quiet appreciation for nature, and for working within its confines. He leaves tall and sometimes hard to believe structures of stones and other materials throughout Kurdistan’s rural mountains and rivers.
